The occultation of a star by asteroid Yamashitaharuo - 19 February 2025

Asteroid Yamashitaharuo is named after the writer Haruo Yamashita. He wrote over 500 novels and stories for children. The asteroid was discovered in 1993 by discoverers K. Endate and K. Watanabe at the observatory in Kitami. The estimated diameter is about 19 km.
