Nearly after a month I have got a positive asteroidal occultation. The weather was not good enough till now.

It was finally nice for a few days. After several failed attempts, I had a positive occultation. And again with diffraction. It is fantastic when theoretical physics matches observations.

So, another positive one during this night. A double at the beginning of the year it is an excellent start.
The occultation of a star by asteroid Helamuda - 04 January 2023
This first positive asteroidal occulation of this year. A bright star, good observation conditions allowed for a very short exposure time during capturing. This was crucial for recording the beautiful diffractions.
