The occultation of a star by asteroid Nestor - 03 February 2025

This occultation is by asteroid Nestor (659). It is a Jupiter trojan with a diameter of approximately 110 kilometers. It was discovered on March 23, 1908 by German astronomer Max Wolf at the Heidelberg Observatory in southern Germany and named after King Nestor of Greek mythology.
