Partial Lunar eclipse - 07 August 2017
There was a Lunar eclipse in the sky after longer time. The moon was rising up partially eclipsed by our planet. The eclipse was vanishing step by step - through penumbral to full moon. There are some pictures.
The occultation of a star by asteroid Recogne (3365) - 02 June 2017
Hattrick! Absolutely unbelievable. Three positive asteroidal occultations during one night. And asteroid is bigger than prediction said as well. Approximately 25km in diameter instead of estimated 17km.
The occultation of a star by asteroid 1998 WZ5 (12921) - 01 June 2016
So I managed to catch the second occultation during one night! This asteroid (category - Jupiter Trojan) is also bigger than estimated diameter too. This occultation revealed diameter minimal 33km.
The occultation of a star by asteroid 1999 XP164 (23101) - 01 June 2016
First positive occultation in this year. It was a long pause. Estimated diameter is minimal 18km.

Nebula NGC 1499 (California) - 29 January 2017
The Nebula California is located in the constellation Perseus. Its shape is similar to the state of California. Distance from our planet je about 1500 light years. It is quite large object in the sky.
Sun halo pillar - 21 January 2017
Solar pillar is not very rare phenomenon. However, each rising of the sun is more beautiful when a nice halo appeared in the sky.
