This night was a holiday for me. My new mount in my new observatory began to carry a new telescope – 36cm Newton. The sky was not absolutely clear and it was often very foggy, however, for testing it was good enough.

This May is full of raining. However, mathematical simulations had predicted a gap among the clouds in the middle of this night, so I decided to go to my small observatory. During preparations (for night observing and taking photos) it was pouring down. It looked awful and I was not sure whether simulation results were right or not. Suddenly, the Sun showed its face and created a nice rainbow. After that the weather began to change and, for my pleasure, the predicted gap between two low pressure areas arrived.

There were several moondogs in the sky. The Moon was only a day after full moon.
